Shin Ansan University Signs Business Agreement with Laos Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare

Shin Ansan University announced on the 24th that it signed an MOU (business agreement) for mutual cooperation development among four parties including the Lao Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Employment Department (Vice Minister Ms. Anousone KHAMSINGSAVATH), the Labor Technology Development Institute (Director Mr. Bounma SITTHISOM), and the Starlight Sharing Foundation.

The agreement seeks cooperation in education, technical training, and overseas employment for human resource development between the two countries, and will foster excellent talents in Laos and support employment in Korea in the future.
Shin Ansan University will provide quality educational programs for the development of university education in Laos and, if necessary, dispatch professors and mentoring.
President Ji Ui-sang of Shin Ansan University stated, “We will actively support the development of the Champasak Technology Development Center in cooperation with the Laos Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and the Labor Technology Development Institute, and we will seek ways for mutual development, such as opening a Korean language culture center within the center in the future.”
Vice Minister of the Laos Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (Ms. Anousone KHAMSINGSAVATH) emphasized, “Through the MOU between Shin Ansan University and the Laos Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, we will seek various cooperation for mutual exchanges in various academic fields and dispatch of human resources between the two countries.”
Kim Hong-gil, Chairman of the Starlight Naboom Foundation, said, “We will serve as a bridgehead between Korea’s Shin Ansan University and the Laotian government to support many Laotian students to study abroad at Shin Ansan University.”
