Opening the door to new learning-

On September 1, 2025, the Champasak Technology Development Center in Laos held an opening ceremony for the Korean Language School, marking a new beginning for Korean language education.
The Korean Language Institute, sponsored by the Starlight Sharing Foundation of Korea and operated by Daosole, a Laotian company, was established to provide Laotian students with opportunities to learn Korean and gain a deeper understanding of Korean culture. The event was filled with excitement and celebration of this new beginning.
Precious steps taken together

The opening ceremony was attended by many officials , including Director of the Champasak Technology Development Center in Laos, Mr. Bunhieng Chanthasak; CEO of Daosole Co., Ltd., Mr. Monrat Sipasong; and Chairman of the Starlight Sharing Foundation of Korea, Mr. Kim Hong-gil, to offer their congratulations. Faculty and staff from the Technology Development Center, Daosole staff, and many students interested in learning Korean were present to celebrate the academy's first steps.
A day full of excitement

The event began with welcoming remarks and congratulatory remarks, followed by the unveiling of the Korean Language School signboard and an introduction to the classrooms. Attendees toured the new learning space and looked forward to the classes and student growth to come.

Students chatted with each other and expressed their anticipation for the upcoming Korean language class.
Hopes conveyed by students

Laotian students shared their aspirations, saying, "I want to learn Korean and study abroad in Korea," and "I want to experience Korean culture firsthand." Their voices were filled with anticipation and hope for new learning opportunities.
The story of starlight that will unfold in the future
This opening ceremony marked a significant first step toward full-scale Korean language education in the Champasak region.
The Starlight Sharing Foundation will continue to provide tuition support and host cultural exchange events, enabling students to learn Korean and experience Korean culture up close.
We hope that the Starlight Sharing Foundation's first Korean language school will serve as a solid stepping stone for Laotian students to achieve their dreams.
