Lao coffee enters Korea, share the first steps - Starlight Sharing Foundation Exchange Event

Diplomatic Coffee Exchange on Koh Tao, Laos

The Starlight Sharing Foundation organized a global trade cooperation and private diplomacy exchange event on Geobuk Island, Gyeonggi Province from June 2 to 3, 2025, inviting families and staff of the Lao Embassy to attend.

This event, part of the World Coffee Festival, focused on discussing cooperation in the import and distribution of Lao coffee beans to the Republic of Korea, and aimed to expand global economic networks and trade activities.

Lao coffee, potential to enter the Korean market

On the first day of the event, the 2nd, a barbecue party was held on the nature of Geobuk Island, where participants were able to freely communicate and build mutual trust. At this event, views were exchanged on the cultural understanding between the two countries and the possibility of future trade cooperation.

On the third day, we continued our intimate networking time by walking around Koh Tao together, and had a leisurely lunch while chatting over Lao coffee at a famous coffee shop on Koh Tao.

First steps to expand economic ties and networks

Through this exchange, Starlight Sharing Foundation will further strengthen economic ties with Laos and lay the foundation for a sustainable global trading partnership. We will continue to be proactive in creating economic growth and recognizing the value of coexistence through private networks around the world.
